The Los Angeles Kings have re-signed forward Alex Laferriere to a three year contract extension, with an average annual value (AAV) of $4.1M. Laferriere had 19 goals and 42 points across 77 games this past season, as well as three assists during the Kings playoff run, which ended in six games against the Edmonton Oilers.
In two seasons in Los Angeles, the 23-year-old has played 158 career games, with 31 goals and 65 points in that timeframe. He has also been apart of the Kings playoff runs the last two seasons, with one goal and five points in 11 Stanley Cup Playoff games for them. Laferriere’s new contract will end in 2028, when he turns 26. He will still be a restricted free agent (RFA) when his new contract is up.
